Oops...did I say I was going to make at least 3 or 4 bags from the book series fabric? What was I thinking... that must be wishful thinking big time because 2 bags are definitely not 4 bags. My intention was to use this first book series to make shopping bags/large tote bags, so I might be more adventurous with the next book series seeing as this wasn’t so bad. The first bag "Brownie" measures approx 23"l 16"h and 6"w, this bag is so big it will carry everything... including the kitchen sink, seriously! The fabric is very lightweight canvas, bag has zipped inner pocket and additional pouches for phones and stuff, also included is a key ring holder...for quick access. The second bag "Regina" which is not as big as Brownie measures approx 19"l 15.5"h and 8"w, like Brownie, bag also has zipped inner pocket and additional pouches for phones and other essentials you definitely cannot do without.

Fabrics of the moment

I really enjoyed processing these fabrics probably because the idea behind it was a novel I was reading and enjoying at the time when the light bulb went off, this is like a whole paragraph from the book written with wax on the fabric before the fabric was dyed and I must say It came out well. Unfortunately, I was not sooo sure that the idea will rock so I just made enough for 3 or 4 bags at the most. Out of these fabrics I plan to make a large shopping bag, a messenger bag, a tote/market bag and more...that's if I still have enough fabric. I will name the bags from these fabrics "The book series". I can't wait to start and I know I'm going to enjoy making the bags so please check back soon for the finished products.
